The work safeguards 53 traditional songs from the Pastoral dance, recorded in lyrics and musical score based on the memory of the masters of this tradition.

Written in the field of Cultural History, the article presents aspects of traditional Christmas dramatizations in Bahia from the perspective of Bahian folklorists from the 19th and 20th centuries.
